Due to wear and age, asphalt pavements need maintenance. Often, this maintenance may involve removal of existing pavement and replacement with fresh material. The good news is that asphalt pavement is the most recycled commodity in our nation. Whether removed by a pavement profiler or with a bucket digging into the ground, asphalt pavement is returned to our asphalt plant site. It is later crushed and screened so that it can make up to 40% of the new asphalt pavement. We do most of our own milling and patching.
